JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Bay State Group, a boutique talent buying agency based in the northeast, is seeking an entry-level events coordinator to handle day-of show duties in various markets throughout New England. This is an exciting position with opportunities to learn all aspects of talent buying, as you will heavily interface with all touring personnel. Applicant must be prompt, courteous, possess strong problem-solving skills, own a smartphone, own a car, willing to travel up to 30% of the time, and willing to work nights/weekends.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 2011 suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong math skills
- Reside in the greater New England area.
- Must be available to start immediately
SALARY:
$8/HR plus travel stipends for shows outside of Massachusetts
